I would highly recommend Website SpellChecker. I review our website personally for errors as they are embarrassing but still managed to miss some so WSSC has more than paid for itself in having eliminated reputational risk from sloppy work. I was also surprised at how few web design tools have built in spell checker meaning that most websites have some spelling errors.
This is a great App for eliminating all those pesky errors that are there no matter how many times you proofread your work. It found a number of errors on our sites which we were able to fix easily once we knew where they were!
Being a small business, we do not have the time to trawl the site and we do not have the team to do it for us. However, for the price, it was worth getting the full site checked to be sure our customers can see we are a clear, concise business to be trusted. From now on, we will factor this cost into each year as we make changes and updates. No matter how many times you proof things yourself there will always be a spelling error somewhere!
Way easier than some of the free offerings out there, where you have to check each page individually, and pick then your way through the results. It’s nice too how the report is presented, with the pages most in need of attention listed first. It would have taken three or four hours to manually audit our site content; with this report we were able to correct everything within a few minutes!
