AI Engine Capabilities
To help you assess the effectiveness of our spellchecking engine, we assign a capability level to each supported language. This level reflects the engine’s ability to check spelling, grammar, and style, and is displayed using a traffic-light icon. Both the overall capability and the detailed breakdown use the same scale:
- GreenGreen (Strong):Fully supported with accurate and reliable results.
- AmberAmber (Partial):Adequately supported, though you may encounter occasional errors or inconsistencies.
- RedRed (Weak):Poorly supported or unsupported, with results that may be unreliable.
When you hover over or click the traffic-light icon, a pop-up will show how each aspect (spelling, grammar, style) performs on this scale.
Please note: Because our engine uses AI, results are not always 100% deterministic. This means scanning the same page multiple times can sometimes produce slightly different outcomes. For the most reliable coverage, we recommend scanning each page at least two or three times.
Free Pages
*5 Free Pages offer – conditions
* Free pages are provided as a credit equivalent to 5 standard page scans at our base GBP rate at the time the credit is issued.
* If you sign up in a non-GBP currency, your promotional credit is issued in that currency using the exchange rate available at sign-up (including any rounding and applicable conversion spread/fees).
* If you later choose to convert your balance to another currency using our self-serve conversion, the remaining promotional credit is converted using the exchange rate available at the time of conversion. The number of pages covered may vary due to exchange rates, rounding, and any conversion spread/fees.
* If exchange rates move against you between the time credit is issued (or converted) and when it is used, your promotional credit may cover fewer than five pages. We do not provide additional promotional credit to restore the full five pages in this scenario.
* In taxable countries, you may initially see fewer “free pages” while tax is being applied. Once your invoice and billing run has completed, tax will be deducted from the free-scan allowance and any missing pages caused by tax will be restored.
* Free pages apply to standard page scans only (excluding tax). Any additional pages are charged at the displayed per-page rate.

Currency Conversions: The "First 50 Pages (Per Month)" and "Each Page Thereafter" prices have been converted from GBP to the respective local currencies using approximate exchange rates as of February 1, 2026. These rates are subject to change.
Estimated Savings Per Page: Calculated by subtracting the "First 50 Pages" price from the lower and upper bounds of the estimated human proofreading cost. This provides an approximate range of savings per page when using the automated service instead of human proofreading.

Human Proofreading Costs: These are approximate ranges based on market rates and may vary depending on the proofreader's experience, the complexity of the text, and turnaround time.
